Shasta Ayala, ALFA
Shasta comes from Lunenburg County. She has been in the health care world since 2006, starting out as a CNA. She became an administrator in 2017, following in her mother’s footsteps. She is married and they have 4 wonderful children. Outside of her dedication to her staff and residents, she is dedicated to her family. You will find her camping and cheering on the kids at their sporting events.
Victoria Broughton, Marketing
Victoria is native to Prince George County. She attended East Carolina University where she received her Bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She worked in Prince George County schools as a SLPA while taking care of her mother who fell ill of cancer. Victoria helped open an Autism Program at North Elementary in Prince George. She transitioned from the school system to the financial world until she welcomed her sweet baby girl in February of 2018. She missed working with people in need so she joined the team at Brighter Living in April of 2018. If she is not in her office, you can find her interacting with the residents, camping with her fiancé and their three children or on the ball field.
Jennifer Allen, CDM/CFPP
Jennifer started her career in the Healthcare field as a Certified Nursing Assistant 25 years ago and worked her way up to become a Certified Dietary Manager in 2009. She has a daughter and 2 son’s which her oldest son serves in our United States Air Force, she has 4 grandsons and a granddaughter. In November of 2017 she joined the team at Brighter Living as the Director of Food and Beverage. Her care and compassion for the elderly is one of the things she admires about herself the most.

Amber Tomlin, Business Office Manager
Amber has been with the company since 2010. She started out as a CNA, become a Registered Medication Aide and has worked her way up to management over the years. Amber is married with two beautiful girls. She is considered Animal Control on site, as she has a deep compassion for everything fury. When you don’t find her at work, you will find her traveling with family and friends or on the sidelines coaching PG Recreational Cheer.
David Neff, MD
Dr. Neff received his PharmD degree from the University of California San Francisco and served the US Public Health Service before earning his MD degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine (the Medical College of Virginia). He completed an internship and residency in Family Medicine at the University of Virginia at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He has practiced geriatric medicine in Assisted Living Facilities since 2001. Dr. Neff lives in Chesterfield County with his wife of 22 years and has 6 adopted children.
